Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that we present the 1st International Congress of the Brazilian Society of Cornea and Eye Tissue Banks (SBC), held in partnership with the 6th PanCornea Congress. This unique event will take place from November 12 to 14, 2026, at the elegant Tivoli Hotel in São Paulo, the largest city in South America.
This Congress has been carefully designed to make history. We will welcome approximately 30 renowned international speakers affiliated with the most important supranational societies dedicated to cornea and ocular surface, who will share the stage with leading Brazilian and Latin American experts, exchanging high-level scientific theoretical and practical knowledge.
The program will feature interactive symposia held in two conference rooms, scientific paper and video presentations, and a special live surgery session. In addition, more than eight wet labs will be offered, covering advanced surgical techniques such as lamellar corneal transplants (DMEK, DSAEK, and DALK), ICL implantation, CAIRS, new models of intracorneal ring segments, keratopigmentation, among others. These activities will be methodically organized in two large areas with over 20 stations, coordinated by highly qualified instructors.
Beyond the scientific program, we are planning a special social agenda, infused with Latin American hospitality, joy, and warmth, providing the ideal environment for entertainment and networking.
Finally, we would like to highlight the event venue’s location in the prestigious Jardins district, with easy access and close proximity to the city’s best hotels, shops, and restaurants. We also invite you to enjoy the attractions of our vibrant host city, São Paulo, affectionately known as “Sampa”, the financial and cultural heart of Brazil, a multicultural mosaic blending commerce, cuisine, and diverse tourist attractions.
